Opportunity has gone
words passed down
honesty should crown
friend over foe
fate will frown
is light the fire
shadows conspire
truth will show
lying is dire
love in sight
determination we fight
emotions we know
grief the blight
Poetry, life
If you, like me, have had your fervor stirred,
pick up your pen and know in times of blight.
there is a power in the written word.
so many wounds and scars that art has cured,
but still mankind seeks out another fight.
Poem, Poetry
To undo the one that was to be blight.
for no matter what we learn, algebra to differentials,
where there's joy, there's pain.

dozing off together, to face the new day.

Leave me here to drown
happiness eluded me,
in order for it to come
i escaped to virtual worlds and times
too hard to overcome
yet all throughout, i managed to see
one spot of hope and light
this happiness was brief but bright
and rid me of this blight

Yourself to fall,
the shadow's drawing nigh,
but his word is like a gun,
or a fire from the sky,
that makes the demons turn and run,
at the corners do i stand,
and with his word i fight,
but the ruler of the land,
understands it as a blight
