It may have been the way he dotted his i's or crossed his t's, but there was a distinct characterization to it. i had over three hours to come up with a conclusion, but i figured it out within the first five minutes.

While there's a lot of good stuff here, i think i missed the characterization of blank a bit. the original idea was for her to be a blank slate (pun may or may not be intended), to just go through life as an emotionless husk of a person.
