The Cat Who Lived in a Garden
Once upon a time there was a cat who lived in a garden, down by the shed where the daffodils grew every spring.
Garden Troubles
She did not have time to register what was happening as the heads of the vines bloomed into what looked like daffodils and pushed into her.
Daffodil Yellow
Where daffodils grew in clusters. oh, he loved daffodils. his favorite flowers. he was going to pick some for her. for adelaide. his mother wandered over to him.
Special Delivery
The daffodils were watching him. their golden, trumpet-like centers focusing on as dozens of empty eye sockets. not the roses or tulips or tiger lilies or anything else. just the daffodils. he backed up several steps to be sure.
