Edited version of my first draft (things with weird names are in latin, they should be in italics but it didn't transfer) it's not pleasant being struck with lightning. neither is being trapped underwater for a minute straight.

The first draft of this sucker clocked in at over 2,300 words. i trimmed it down to 2,091 words, but i couldn't bring myself to cut any more for fear it would disrupt the flow of the action.
