"In order that you live here with more tranquility" Adnan says looking at Dana.

"Look, the whole forest and this region until those peaks that surround us are irradiated with a kind of especial energy that has his origin in the subsoil. That was what you felt when you escaped." Adnan says looking at Dana.

"You felt weakness because you entered suddenly inside the field of energy, a human would not normally be able to do that." Adnan says looking at Dana, she looks at the landscape in front of her.

Peaks at the bottom are wrapped up in fog, the forest looks splendid, and everything is green.

There is a waterfall in impressive downtown.

"Why Randy entered?" Dana asks while she looks at the wolf.

"At some point all of you will become aware of the tasteless of your disagreements and you will dedicate to work side by side for a common interest, but on the way it will be a very difficult obstacle and humanity will gather even more to face it" Adnan says looking at Dana, she looks at him with surprise and incredulity.

"What is here hidden will help you to face that obstacle and to come out triumphant, not only for yourselves, but also for the good of this world" Adnan says looking at Dana. She looks at him in silence.

"I did not expect that, as things go, I thought that we would not get to any place." Dana says while she thinks about the last reports of the newspapers about hunger, the diseases and the war in some places of the globe.

"At the foot of the abyss only one can jump or turn around and changing direction not to fall in it" Adnan says looking at Dana. She nods to show that she agrees.

"I have been enough in this world to see your great potential, but all of you cannot put your decisions on the correct way yet." Adnan say looking at Dana. She cannot avoid thinking that this wolf or spirit it is a unique thing, not only in his abilities, but also in his way of being, he sees beyond it evident and seems to know a great understanding about the human condition.

"Are there others like you?"Dana asks looking at Adnan. He nods lightly.

"Yes, there are two more that patrol other places around this one, each one has his own territory to patrol" Adnan says looking at Dana.

"I did not see them, only I know that they are there." Adnan says looking at Dana.

"So I must compulsorily stay here" Dana says sighing in low spirits. She had a life in the city, a house a car and friends. She not have a family, no one that she knows because her parents died when she was a kid and her aunt and uncle brought her up, she did not want to see them because they always treated her badly and her uncle tried to rape her.

They return to the main cave and Dana begins to select what she will use to live there, she simply fits everything into groups of the indispensable and what's secondary. Dana picks up branches and dry leafs to make a bonfire while Adnan goes out to look for something to eat for her.

When he returns, Dana already has lit the fire; Adnan lays two fishes on a close rock. Dana takes fishes and strings them at two branches before putting them to cook on the fire.

"You are very capable" Adnan says while he sits and looks at Dana.

"I was thinking that... if you could make me a place where I can put all this and to maintain it safe, perhaps a cave where all is dry" Dana says looking at Adnan with a certain amount of caution.

"Do you wish to have your own rooms?" Adnan says while he looks at Dana.

"No, if you agree we can sleep at the cave side by side, but I need a bed more... uhmmm of my style." Dana says laughing smoothly. Adnan agrees while he looks around him.

He gets up and gets close to a vault's wall and moves his paw, Dana looks with surprise as the cave's wall slowly is disappearing while Adnan moves his paw and perforates the rock without difficulty.

She watches the whole procedure amazedly, close to thirty minutes later the cave is done.

Dana enters at the cave and gets surprised seeing a rectangular and very large room inside the mountain.

Dana explores alone the place in the next days; Adnan had told her that he would always take care of her although he would not at her side. Dana notices that a lot of animals look at her with interest, she sees a couple of wolves and pumas that simply ignorant her, or they do not want to come closer.

She knew that somehow Adnan was protecting her and no one of them would dare to get her hurt.

Dana on the way over picks up branches and some stones that can be useful.

Conform pass the months, she adapts to her new life, Dana with effort and help of Adnan had put together a couple of cabinets for the rectangular room that had become a rustic kitchen in addition to deposit in the deepest part.

"Perhaps you are here to be Adnan's mate." Njord's says looking at Dana. She opens her eyes with surprise.

"Like a wife?" Dana asks with bewilderment and surprise.

"We are used to loneliness, but Adnan is a wolf deep inside him, he has a story behind him and each wolf needs a pack to live" Kam says looking at Dana. She looks at him with surprise and understands that Adnan just like these spirits had previous lives before that become spirits.

"But Adnan and I are totally different from each other." Dana says while she looks at the spirits that are in front of her.

"If I remember well, your specie says that love sees beyond forms and sizes" Njord says while he looks at Dana. She looks at him and nods lightly while she thinks about Adnan and what she really feels for him.

Dana spends the next hour talking with Njord and Kam about their lives. She got surprised by the story that surrounds them, she asks herself about Adnan's story. Dana in all this time had no asks to Adnan about his past.

After chatting with Njord and Kam, Dana returns to the cave for lunch, she and Adnan eat side by side. When she finishes the meal Dana sits on the vault's ground and while she has her back on the wall to rest.

"Adnan, can I ask you something?" Dana asks looking at Adnan.

"I was an ordinary wolf that lived in the times that your people started to give your first steps in this world." Adnan says while he sits in front of Dana. She makes herself comfortable to hear his story.

"In spite of the fact that it was prohibited, since I was young I had a special interest in your kind, you were some weak beings that did not have claws neither canine tooth for fight or hunt, in addition to our developed senses, that let me puzzled. I did not know why beings so weak could survive the attacks of more big and adapted animals." Adnan says.

"You had all to lose, but in the course of time I realized that you had a very different ability which you counted with and no one of us, your intelligence. It was surprised when I saw you hunting and driving away beasts a lot bigger than bears and pumas." Adnan says while he looks at Dana.

"You seemed interesting to me, one day by chance I went by close to a cliff, I was moving behind some shrubs. There I saw a woman and her children, they were desquamating a couple of fishes that they had captured in a close river." Adnan says while he remembers.

"I stayed there to observe them with interest, but apparently they were not the only one hovering around over there, a bear burst through the trees and attacked to the family to eat the fish, the woman obviously defended herself and her children" Adnan says while he looks at Dana.

"She was trying to defend her sons as would make any female of my kind, I do not know what encouraged me, but I came out of the shrubs and attack to the bear to defend the mother and her children. Adnan says looking at Dana.

"What happened with the mother and her children?" Dana asks with a lot of interest.

"They were saved and one day the mother found a couple of wolf cubs next to their deceased mother, the woman remembered what happened with me and the bear, she took the cubs to take care of them, that was dogs' beginning." Adnan says while he looks at Dana. She is surprised by his story.

"Didn't you have a wife or something similar?" Dana asks looking at Adnan, he sighs with sadness.

"I had a... girlfriend." Adnan responds looking at Dana. She notices that he is sad.

"I was going to see her and asking her be my mate, but then the combat with the bear happened and next I arrived here, I trained myself to dominate my new abilities and when finally I could got out I went to see her to bring her with me." Adnan says looking at Dana, she listens attentively.
