stories end in the mire. i had no true hope of making the crossing, but capture would have been certain on any other route.
An Epilogue
So, in lieu of a final chapter, let me tell you how i think the story ends. how i would have wanted it to end. khaesho. a man who chose exile, because he thought himself a danger to others.
Life is Always Changing,
My story ended and she looked to me, but no words were exchanged. we could read the expressions on each others face. i lay back on my bed, and she tucked me in, just like i was 6 years old. but i didn't care.
Sarah's Story Ch. 1
