Dragon Mayor
Another chapter in the adventures of Caleb, an adventure of exceptional strength and the gift of a third eye. He also has a particular taste in female companions. This time the adventure is squeezed into a slightly longer single chapter.
With the party just a few days from their destination in Chayathana, they detour to the small town of Eggans for an unplanned stop. Something seems a little off about the backwater town and it's Lady Mayor.
Caleb, Maryana, Cara and Vexena had been traveling for almost a week since they left the village of Ponia. The road they were on was a long and lonely one, but with the addition of Vexena to the party the traveling had been going easier. A magic user of any tradition was a boon to any party, and the red hag was also just as effective in martial combat thanks to her newly enhanced strength. Although they didn’t encounter many other travelers along the road, they were hardly lacking for companionship either.
Although there were few travelers along this stretch of road at the time, the isolated nature of it made it ideal for those who chose to prey on travelers. A band of bandits had tried to surprise the party, but Cara had spotted them hiding in the trees and brush to the side of the road. It was more than enough warning to deal with the threat. Caleb and Maryana drew their weapons and hit the would be attackers with brutal blows. Cara moved with far more agility and speed than anything her size should have, slipping in between and behind the bandits, surprising them with attacks out of nowhere. Vexena, now fully recovered, called upon her blood magic to control the environment, entangling them in enchanted undergrowth. One bandit tried to take her out with a rusty sword, but a solid hit to the side of his head from her staff knocked him down to the ground, minus a few teeth.
As brutal and efficient as they were, they did not try to outright kill the bandits. They weren’t monsters, just people and they deserved to face justice. Caleb pulled a long rope out of his pack and saw to binding the hands of the survivors.
“We couldn’t just run into a band of performers, could we?” Cara sighed as she went through the confiscated equipment.
“Tired of telling your own stories?” Vexena smirked. “What do we do with these fools?”
“There’s got to be some kind of settlement nearby, or they would have no place to spend their stolen coppers.” Caleb said as he tightly bound a man’s hands together.
“Ah, then we just need to ask our new friends nicely then.” Maryana approached one of the younger bandits, barely more than a boy. He was already sporting as black eye from when Maryana smashed his face with her shield. “So,” she leaned down, her golden eyes gleaming, “where is the closest town?”
The bandit flinched away, but quickly stuttered out, “Eggans! The town of Eggans!”
Given the groans and dirty looks from the other bandits, Maryana figured he was telling the truth. “And how do we get there?”
“Down the road, then take the left fork.” He replied, refusing to make eye contact.
“Well, it wouldn’t hurt to stock up on a few things for the last leg of our journey to Chayathana.” Cara said as she finished dumping all of the bandit’s coins into a large pouch. “And thanks to these fine gentlemen, we won’t need to pay for our drinks at the inn.”
Caleb chuckled as he finished up with the last prisoner. “Alright, let’s get going then.”
***
Caleb knew there were backwater towns and villages that often wouldn’t even get a passing mention on a map. He’d been to plenty since he started his life as an adventurer. Eggans, however, looked different. Instead of a ramshackle collection of small buildings, this looked like a proper town. It even had a stone wall surrounding the town.
“It’s a little far off the beaten path for a town this size.” Cara said aloud what they all were thinking.
“All the paths laid out in straight lines like that, it’s kind of creepy.” Vexena shook her head.
“What’s creepy about that?” Cara asked.
Vexena took a deep breath and let it out slowly. “Nature never has a straight path or right angles. Humanity’s obsession with it can be…disconcerting at times.”
“It does make navigating towns and cities easier, to their credit.” Maryana patted her on the shoulder.
“I’m more interested in how a settlement can be this large and refined removed from any trade routes.” Caleb said as he shrugged. “But before I dwell on it, I’d like to drop our friends off with the local sheriff.”
Caleb led the line of captured bandits to the town’s gate. The procession was easily noticed and a middle aged man hurried out to meet them.
“Hold it there, what is your business here in Eggans?” The man asked in a firm authoritarian voice.
“Are you the sheriff?” Caleb asked.
The man nodded. “I am.”
“Good. We were waylaid by these bandits coming up the road.”
The sheriff looked at the rest of Caleb’s companions. “They tried to jump you? Not too bright, are they?” a small smile spread across his face. “Bring them in, I’m sure we can find some space for them till the magistrate can figure out their punishment.” he offered a hand to Caleb. “I’m Marolo, by the way.”
Caleb exchanged a firm handshake. “Lead the way.”
As they made their way to the local jail, the party couldn’t help but notice how prosperous the small town seemed to be. The buildings were all well built and perfectly maintained, and everyone seemed dressed well for their station. Maryana felt a little self conscious of her own travel worn appearance. Cara noticed and whispered in her ears.
“Don’t sweat it, we’ll find a nice place to get cleaned up. A town like this has got to have a bathhouse.”
Maryana smiled at her friend and nodded.
Before long, the bandits were locked up in the jail and Caleb was coiling his rope back up. Someone delivered a message to Marolo and he glanced at the scrap of parchment before nodding slowly to himself.
“Before you all go out to wander around the town, The Lady Mayor wants to meet with you.”
“Oh?” Vexena’s pink eyes focused on Marolo.
“Yes, she is pleased with your capture of these thugs and wishes to offer her thanks in person.”
“I don’t know if we’re in much of a state to meet with her. It’s been a long road.” Caleb said as diplomatically as possible.
“She’s a no-nonsense woman, she knows you are fresh off the road. More than that, I find it’s best to come when Lady Cason calls you.”
Given the tone in Marolo’s voice, Caleb figured it was best not to argue with the sheriff. “I see. I take it the large manor in the middle of town is hers?”
“Yes indeed.”
As they walked down the road towards the center of town, Caleb noticed a look on Vexena’s face. He placed a hand gently on her shoulder.
“Are you alright?”
“Not exactly, no.” She paused and looked around the surrounding buildings. “I feel like there is something off about this town, and not just because it’s full of humans.”
“Is it something magical?”
“Almost definitely, though I can’t tell what kind of magic it is. I can tell you it is deep and subtle. Another mage might not even notice it. I think I only did because the more mundane parts of the town already made me anxious.”
“We should remain cautious then.” Maryana said softly.
“Agreed.” Cara nodded. “We should also stick together after our meeting with the mayor, we’re a lot stronger if we stay together.”
“Hopefully things won’t come to that, but we will be careful. For now, let’s get the meeting with the Lady Mayor over with so we can stock up on supplies and then enjoy a good night at the inn.” He smiled, “I could use a good ale after all of this.”
The other three chuckled and they continued on to the mayor’s residence. It was of little surprise that the largest home in the town belonged to the Lady Mayor, but this manor seemed almost too large for a town the size of Eggans. It bordered on a palace with the craftsmanship and artistry on display, or maybe even a cathedral with its many stained glass windows.
Caleb knocked on the heavy intricately carved oak doors. After a moment they cracked open and a small young woman poked her head out.
“Oh!” She looked surprised at the tall and imposing statures of Caleb and his companions. “You must be the adventures Lady Cason mentioned. Please, come in.” She pushed the door open further and invited them into the entry hall. “My name is Aida, I assist the Lady with her duties as mayor of our town.”
Inside, the opulence continued with statues and paintings hanging from the walls. Caleb couldn’t help but think back to their home base, the previous home of a mad mage when it came to the well crafted details of the manor.
“If you could follow me to the East Parlor, the lady will be with you shortly.” Aida said as she led them down a corridor.
The room was small, with windows looking out onto a small garden. There was a large ornate desk and several comfortable chairs stationed throughout the room. Cara couldn’t help appraising the room with her thief’s eye as she sat down on a leather upholstered chair.
“Wow, this is a nice place, and I’ve been in noble’s homes before.” She said with a bit of a smirk. “Hmm, this chair…”
“What about the chair?” Vexena naked as she looked out the window into the garden.
“It’s comfortable. I mean, it’s not just the padding, this chair is the right size for, well, big people. You know, like us.”
Caleb raised an eyebrow, but when he took a closer look he noticed it too. He sat down in a chair and it did support his body better than an average chair would.
“Aida called this room the East Parlor, that implies there are other parlors. Perhaps this is designed for meeting with adventurers.” Maryana said as she eased herself down onto a couch.
“Big adventurers maybe. I used to be about the same size as Aida when I started out.” Cara shrugged.
“In height, maybe.” Caleb smiled slightly.
They were not kept waiting for long. Aida opened the door and cleared her throat before introducing her mistress.
“Introducing Lady Lucrezia Cason, The Mayor of Eggans.”
It quickly became obvious that the furniture was designed less with guests in mind than the lady of the manor. Lucrezia practically filled the doorway behind her servant. She was as tall as Caleb, and perhaps just as broad. Her dark hair hung freely, cascading down past her waist. Her lips were full and sporting a large smile. Lucrezia’s warm eyes glinted in the light coming in through the window.
The lady’s clothing, though expertly tailored and obviously made of fine silk, exposed more of her physique than even Vexena. Lucrezia’s red top crossed over her chest. Maryana wondered if the top was enchanted, because it somehow managed to contain and support a chest that was on par with hers and her companions. She was completely bare down to her waist, showing off her light tan skin stretched over powerful and well defined muscles. A long divided skirt extended down past her knees, not that it left any of her sculpted legs to the imagination. Given her already extreme height, Lucrezia opted for flat soled shoes, but they were just as well made as any other lady’s would be.
Caleb stood up and bowed and the other three quickly followed suit. Lucrezia’s smile remained wide as she quickly took in the party of adventurers.
“Thank you, Aida, you may return to your other duties.” She said as she entered the parlor fully. “Please, sit, I’m sure you are tired from a long day on the road and dealing with those bandits.” Lucrezia said as she approached her desk.
Caleb still waited until the Lady Mayor had taken her own seat before sitting down. He hadn’t had much interaction with the nobility directly, but he knew enough to watch his manners and show respect.
“Thank you, my lady.” he said in what he hoped was the appropriate tone.
“Although the news quickly reached me, your names have not.”
“My name is Caleb. These are my companions, Maryana, Cara, and Vexena.”
As each female nodded her head, Lucrezia focused her gaze on them. Though it only lasted a moment, there was an unnerving feeling each one of them felt. Her eyes then settled back on Caleb. He felt something he couldn’t quite explain as her warm eyes bore into him from across her desk.
“Those troublemakers were starting to get to be rather bothersome for the few people that travel too and from our little town.” As intense as her gaze was, her tone seemed light and friendly. “I was about to discuss things with the sheriff, but it seems you four have already dealt with the situation, and I am grateful.”
“It was no trouble, really.” Cara said as she crossed her legs. “I don’t know what they were thinking trying to jump us, it should have been obvious we wouldn’t be easy pickings.”
“Bandits aren’t known for their intellect.” Lucrezia chuckled softly. “And besides that, some men foolishly underestimate just how strong a woman can be. But I’m guessing Caleb here isn’t that kind of a man, is he?”
“Obviously not, otherwise we would not be traveling with him.” Maryana replied, getting slightly worried about the mayor’s attention on Caleb.
“Obviously.” Lucrezia leaned forward slightly. “As a gesture of my and the town’s collective thanks, I would like to invite you to dinner this evening.”
There was something about her tone that implied this was more of an order than a request. Caleb glanced at his companions. Cara gave a small shrug. Vexena a slight nod, though there was an uncertain look in her pink eyes. Maryana looked slightly frustrated, but she closed her eyes and sighed before turning to look out the window.
“When would you like for us to arrive, Lady Cason?”
“You may address me as Lady Lucrezia, and after sunset would be the ideal time.” She stood up from her desk and the rest of them followed suit. “I’m sure you have some things to attend to before then, as do I. I look forward to having a bit more time to relax and discuss things with you, until then, have a good day.”
Lucrezia left the room, her hips and dress swaying softly as she walked out of sight.
They were left a little out of sorts from the meeting, unsure whether to see themselves out or not, but the decision was made for them when Aida returned and escorted them back to the door.
They stood outside the closed door for a moment. It was Vexena who broke the silence first.
“Any woman with biceps, hmm?” She asked as a smile spread across her face.
Caleb blushed while the other two laughed.
“I think she has similar feelings, given how her eyes barely left his body.” The red hag continued.
“I noticed.” Maryana said as they started to walk away from the manor.
“I also get the impression she is the center of the, ah, odd feeling in this town.” Vexena noted.
“It wouldn’t surprise me.” Cara said, shaking her head. “Do you think she always dresses like that, or just when big strong adventures roll into town?”
“I rather liked her dress,” Vexena patted down her own clothing as she spoke. “I wouldn’t mind something like that, but in a more sturdy material.”
“At any rate, what do we do now?” Maryana asked now that the manor was truly behind them.
“Might as well stock up on supplies, there seems to be a nice bustling market here.” Caleb said, trying not to think about the encounter with the mayor.
“After that, we should probably get a bit cleaned up. Fresh clothes, brush our hair, well those of us with hair.”
“Ha, ha.” Caleb rolled his eyes.
***
As the sun slipped below the horizon, Caleb Maryana, Cara, and Vexena made their way back towards the Mayor’s manor. Weapons and armor had been left behind in a room they rented for the night. After their shopping was completed they had washed up as best as they could in the room, though Cara lamented wanting a proper bath at the local bathhouse.
Before they could even knock on the door, Aida opened it. She took her time inspecting the party.
“You all seem presentable, at least.” She sighed, “Please, follow me.”
They were once again led through the opulent manor to the dining hall. Their noses began to twitch with the wonderful smells of food before Aida could even open the door. A large rectangular table was practically covered with food. Roast and grilled meat, vegetables, and everything from bread to fluffy pastries. Wine, mead, and beer were also in plentiful supply. This was more of a feast than a fancy dinner, a fact which disappointed none of the adventures. Sitting at the head of the table was Lucrezia, her smile wide as she held up a golden goblet full of wine.
“Please, be seated and join me. Normally when I have guests, I have to abide by the nobility’s idea of a proper dinner. All of us, however, have bodies that need more than seven courses of barely any food. Feel free to indulge yourselves, there is no need for lady-like bites.”
As if to drive the point home, Lucrezia picked up a turkey leg and tore off a huge bit of the slow smoked meat. Cara laughed and proceeded to sit down and help herself to the roast beef and an entire loaf of bread. The rest quickly joined. Servants poured out beverages and kept the table clear of bones while they ate. Aida stood by her mistress, seeing to her personally.
“I hope everything is to your liking.” Lucrezia said as Aida refiled her goblet with wine. “I just went for a little of everything. I wanted to make sure everyone was satisfied.” She smiled with hungry eyes at Caleb
Although she was not a bad host, Lucrezia’s attention was clearly on Caleb. Even if he did not notice, his companions did. Maybe it was from the several bottles of wine she had already drank, or maybe it was just her nature but it was Cara who finally said something.
“Don’t get me wrong, Lucrezia, we all appreciate the dinner. But as obvious as it is to the rest of us what you want to be chewing on, you’re going to have to spell it outright to Caleb.”
Lucrezia didn’t seem phased by the informality, instead her large full lips curled into a smile before laughing out loud.
“So I should make my intentions more clear for the young Caleb then?” She smirked over her goblet as she started him down.
Caleb instantly blushed and quickly hid his face behind his flagon of ale.
“But if we are all going to be transparent, perhaps we should do away with silly disguises. It is obvious that you are fey-touched, Caleb, and I’m guessing that bandanna is hiding a third eye?”
Caleb nearly spat out his ale but he managed to swallow what was in his mouth.
“It’s not just you, of course. Maryana is a fusion, I haven't seen one in quite a while. I’m guessing she was originally an orc and a human. Cara is a construct of some sort obviously, though I’ve never met one with a taste for wine before. Then there is Vexena. I’m afraid your illusion is less effective than Caleb’s headband to my eyes. Not to mention, red is such a lovely color, it’s a shame to hide it.”
The party was quiet as they realized how easily the mayor had figured them out. Caleb untied his headband and met Lucrezia’s eyes with all three of his own.
“Ah, and it matches the other two, how lovely! That just makes it more of a good thing.” Lucrezia winked across the table at him.
“I had a feeling you saw me for what I truly was.” Vexena dismissed her illusion with a small gesture. “Though I am surprised you deduced Caleb’s and Maryana’s true natures.”
“What about me?” Cara raised an eyebrow.
“Only the inexperienced or ignorant would see you as just a woman with an exotic skin tone. Then again, that does describe most humans.” Lucrezia smirked.
“It is also obvious by this point that you, yourself, are not human.” Vexena maintained eye contact as she took a bite of her food.
There was no look of surprise or anger on the mayor’s face. She leaned back slightly in her chair and smiled widely. Aida, however, looked nervous about the direction things were going.
“Aida, would you be a dear and shudder the windows and bar the doors, I wouldn’t want any…unintended visitors showing up for the rest of the evening.”
“Yes, my lady.” She bowed stiffly then left the dining hall.
Caleb watched as the assistant left and the other servants followed. They were left alone with the Lady mayor. Lucrezia finished her drink and placed the goblet down on the table. She then rose from her seat. Her warm eyes shifted to a golden color and then began to shine. The whites of her eyes swirled to black and the real show began. Her already impressive build increased, her arms and legs growing thicker. But she did more than just bulk up, her height increased, making her clearly taller than Caleb. Dark red scales grew out from her skin, encasing her body in natural armor. Her top stretched as her chest nearly doubled in size, yet it managed to hold. Her shoes, however, did not. The fine leather stretched then burst as her feet became three toed reptilian feet with wicked claws. Her wide smile stretched as her face grew out into a muzzle full of sharp teeth. Spouting up through her hair a pair of black horns pushed out and curved back. There was the sound of tearing fabric as a long and thick tail grew out from her rear. It flicked back and forth as it reached its full length.
“A half dragon?” Caleb whispered.
“Oh, there’s nothing half about me. However, if I took on my full draconic body, I would destroy my home and crush the four of you under me, if your hearts didn’t just stop from seeing the true glory that is me.” She reached down and picked up an entire chicken. She tossed it into her mouth like it was a grape and ate it, bones and all. “Lady Lucrezia Cason is simply my latest human alias. My hatch-name is Lyrvarrith.”
Maryana shook her head, not fully believing her eyes. “Why is a dragon posing as the mayor of a small town in the middle of nowhere?”
“Posing?” Lyrvarrith looked indignant, “I assure you I work hard in my position, and I’ve gotten quite good at it over the centuries.”
“Ok, that was a little rude of her to say,” Cara spoke up, “but why would a dragon be concerned with running a small town?”
“The truth is, I founded this town. I enticed people to call it home. I saw to the construction of the wall and other important buildings. Why should I not be the Lady Mayor.”
“Understandable,” Vexena tilted her head slightly to the side, “but why build a town in the first place?”
“That’s simple, it is the perfect cover for my lair. Eggans was built on top of my lair deep in the earth. You could say it is my front gate. It obscures what is below and running the town is a nice distraction for me. Unlike many of my kin, I find the prospect of sleeping for decades at a time rather boring, I want to get up and do something, not just sleep away the years on top of my hoard.”
“So,” Cara picked up a fork and twirled it between her fingers, “let me guess, every so often your human identity retires or passes away and you hand over the title of Lady Mayor to a new identity.”
“You’re a clever thief, aren’t you? Yes, that is exactly what I do every couple of decades. Anyway, I share my prosperity with the town in exchange for them being my camouflage. The aura of a, let’s say mature dragon, can have quite the positive effect on people and their lives.”
“I’m assuming that if this evening was just a plan to wipe out a party of adventures you wouldn’t have bothered with the pretense and just killed us. So, why the dinner party?” Maryana said, gesturing to the food on the table. “Not to mention telling us all of this.”
“Isn’t it obvious from the attention I’ve shown Caleb?” She leaned forward, showing off her massive cleavage. “It’s that time of the century, and my body desires to find a mate. But, I’m not in the mood to worry about raising hatchlings. Caleb is a fine looking male who very obviously has no issue laying with a powerful female companion. I sensed he would be the perfect partner to help me scratch that hundred year itch.”
“I see,” Cara emptied what was left of a bottle of wine into her cup, “and is there any sort of studding fee involved in this transaction?”
“Hmpf!” The dragoness scoffed and crossed her arms. “Sharing my bed should be payment enough for any lesser creature.”
“Oh, sure, Caleb gets laid and all, but what about the rest of us? Are you going to give us a turn in your sheets too?”
Maryana and Vexena both glared at the thief while Lyrvarrith appeared stunned at her words. After a moment, however, the dragoness laughed loudly.
“I have no interest in females, so instead I will offer your rooms for the night and access to my private baths. Frankly, you could all use a long bath. And to buy your silence on matters I’ll even offer each of you a small trinket from my hoard. Will that satisfy you?”
“The terms seem acceptable to me,” Vexena nodded, “but please remember Caleb will need to be able to walk tomorrow morning, we still need to reach Chayathana while the Duke is still hiring.”
Lyrvarrith chuckled and placed a hand on Caleb’s shoulder. “Aida will see to your rooms and other arrangements.”
“When will I get a say in the bartering my own body?” Caleb sighed before finishing his ale.
“Not tonight, it would seem.” Lyrvarrith leaned in close and whispered into her ear. “I assure you, the arrangement will be pleasing to us both.” Her long tongue tickled his ear before she pulled away. “If you will excuse us, we will see you in the morning.”
Despite his complaint, Caleb couldn’t help but wonder just how things would go as he allowed himself to be led through the manor. They descended several floors before his host spoke.
“We are not descending to my lair, not that you’d really enjoy bedding me on a pile of coins anyway. However, I like to have a certain amount of privacy when I cut loose.”
“Oh?” Caleb said as they paused before an ornate door.
“I can get a bit loud, especially if you’re doing a good job.” She smiled before pushing open the door.
Caleb stepped into a large cylindrical room. Dead center there was a large round bed, covered with pillows and silk sheets. Around the bed the walls were adorned with what Caleb assumed here paintings of Lyrvarrith in her true form. In some she was flying, in other’s spewing flames from her mouth. Caleb had heard as a child that the biggest thing about a dragon was their ego, and so far Lyrvarrith seemed to be living up to that.
The dragon ran her hand slowly down Caleb’s back, appreciating the muscles beneath his tunic. Her hands cupped his rear and gave it a good squeeze. Caleb did his best not to jump at the sudden grab. Instead he turned his head to look Lyrvarrith in her eyes.
“Are you going to feel me up like a melon in the market or are we going to do this?”
She chuckled before pulling him into a kiss. As her long tongue pushed past his lips easily, her clawed fingers unfastened his belt. Caleb wrapped his hands around her torso, his fingers fumbling with the fastener of her top. Eventually he got it and her massive mounds were freed. Lyrvarrith pulled back long enough to whip his tunic off over his head before pushing him down onto her bed. Caleb kicked off his boots as the dragon pulled down his leggings. She smiled at the bulge in his smallclothes.
“It looks like you’re big all over,” she dropped her skirt to the floor, “good.”
Caleb was barely able to pull down his smallclothes before he was covered with the body of a very horny dragoness. Her scales pressed into her skin as she claimed his mouth once again. She ground her hips hard against his shaft, teasing him as she pushed him deeper into the soft bed. Before long, however, Lyrvarrith had enough of the foreplay. She broke the kiss and sat up straddling his legs.
“Now don’t disappoint me.” She smiled showing off her sharp teeth as she guided his rock hard shaft to her slit.
It hit Caleb immediately just how warm she was as the tip slipped into her. It was almost too hot for him, but Caleb endured, biting his lower lip as he was enveloped. Lyrvarrith sighed deeply as she sank down on his shaft, feeling a small bit of relief from just being filled. He reached down and gripped the dragon tightly by her waist and forced her down to fully hilt.
“Oh! Mmmm, yes, more of that please, don’t hold back with me!” Lyrvarrith sounded almost giddy.
She started to bounce slightly on the shaft, her chest jiggling obscenely as she did so. Caleb held on tightly and thrust his hips upward to meet her. Lyrvarrith hadn’t lied, she was quickly getting louder, moaning and crying out. Her hot pussy squeezing tightly around Caleb as she moved. Caleb held on tighter than ever as he forced his way as deep as he could go with every downward thrust of the dragoness. His nails would have dug in deep scratches if it weren’t for Lyrvarrith’s scales.
Her eyes were shut tight as she moaned and groaned with pure animalistic pleasure. Not that Caleb wasn’t also making sounds, but he was easily drowned out by Lyrvarrith. Her tail was slapping down hard between his legs and her head was tilted all the way back. She let out what started as a scream but quickly became a full on roar. She slammed down so hard it actually knocked the wind out of Caleb.
The man was left gasping for air, as he too climaxed hard into the dragoness. This wasn’t made any easier when she nearly smothered him with her breasts when she collapsed forward. It took Caleb a moment to find the strength to shift her boob enough to gulp down a solid breath of air. As he was recovering Caleb found himself pulled into a tight embrace and thankfully Lyrvarrith rolled onto her side.
“Ahh, I really needed that…” Lyrvarrith nuzzled his neck tenderly. “Honestly I needed a good screw for the past decade I think. My heat only made things worse.”
“Happy I could help.”
“Don’t act like we’re done just yet, I’m paying well for your time.”
“Did It look like I wasn’t enjoying myself?”
“It was a bit hard to pay attention.” She admitted. “But now that I can think properly again, perhaps we can both have a little more fun next time.”
Caleb turned around in the dragoness’ embrace to face her. “What do you have in mind?”
“How about a little harmless polymorph magic. Nothing permanent, of course.”
“For me I assume?”
“Of course. Ever wonder what it would be like to be a bit more draconic?”
“I don’t know if I ever-”
“Oh, of course you have, everyone does.” She pressed in for a kiss before Caleb could say anything else.
Caleb thought about it as he returned the kiss. When they finally parted he simply nodded. That was all the permission Lyrvarrith needed. She slowly disentangled herself from her partner and looked over his human body with an appreciative eye. With her clawed hands she started to trace mystic runes in the air and growl something in the dragon’s native tongue. Caleb watched, in fascination until he felt a strange tingle across his entire body.
He ran his hand down over his arm and could feel his skin growing rougher, almost like sandpaper. Caleb quickly realized it was the tips of white scales growing out from his bare skin. It didn’t hurt really, if anything it sort of tickled. A tail forcing its way out of his backside forced the adventurer to roll onto his side. The new appendage felt strange and he had no way to control it at first. The bones in Caleb’s feet cracked and shifted as they took on a more draconic appearance.
As he watched his arm become fully encased with not only white scales, but bands of peach colored ones as well. Caleb’s nails transformed into claws at the tips of his fingers and toes. He then felt something stirring between his legs. Caleb wasn’t just hard again, his shaft was physically changing. I frilled ridge wormed along the top of his shaft as the head became more aggressively tapered. While the rest of his body became white with peach bands and highlights from the scale growth, his shaft took on a bright red color.
Caleb covered his face with his hands as he felt an immense pressure at the front of his face. His nose and jaws pushed out and reshaped into a draconic muzzle full of sharp teeth and a long forked tongue. As the spell finished, Caleb blinked. His three eyes seemed unchanged by the polymorph spell, although they were now set in thick armored ridges.
“Although not as beautiful as red, white is a good color for you.” Lyrvarrith smiled as she ran her clawed hand over his chest.
Perhaps it was Caleb’s imagination, but her claws seemed to tease his scales more than they had his skin. He sat up from the bed and pulled Lyrvarrith into a deep kiss. Their long tongues entwined as they shared the passion. Lyrvarrith didn’t fight it in the least when Caleb pushed her back down onto the bed. He slid down her scaled belly and spread her legs wide. Immediately he put his enhanced tongue to work. Lyrvarrith’s loud cry filled his ears as he delved deeply. Her powerful thighs squeezed his head firmly as he worked.
“Enough! I want it now!” She bellowed as she physically pulled his snout out of her crotch.
Caleb was ready to go before he had started. He smiled as he took position in between her legs and pushed in deeply. Lyrvarrith cried out again as her back arched off the bed. She gripped him tightly, her claws raking against his back hard enough to scratch his scales. Caleb thrust hard and deep into the dragoness, enjoying the novel experience of his draconic cock. Lyrvarrith also seemed to be enjoying it , she was practically squirming underneath Caleb as he pounded her sex.
If she was loud before, Lyrvarrith‘s cries were almost deafening now. She desperately held onto Caleb, and he was certain if it wasn’t for the scales he would be hurt for sure. The dragon threw back her head and did more than simply roar, a gout of flame shot out of her mouth. Caleb flinched back reflexively, but he felt little more than just a blast of heat in his current form. Lyrvarrith let out a panting laugh at his reaction.
“It has been centuries since anyone made me that hot.” She laughed again as she relaxed back onto the bed. “I’m tempted to keep you for a few years.”
“I’m afraid that wouldn’t be possible.” Caleb said as diplomatically as he could as he pulled out.
Lyrvarrith pulled him down, pressing his face into her bountiful chest. “Oh, I know better than to get too attached to a short lived fellow like yourself. However, I’m paying for this night, and I am going to enjoy it.”
Caleb’s response was muffled by her breasts.

Lady Lucrezia’s, or rather Lyrvarrith’s, private bath was as opulent as the rest of her manor. A large heated pool gave the entire room a humid but comfortable warmth. Stained glass windows kept out any prying eyes while further adding to the beauty of the room. The light of many candles gave the room a warm flickering glow. A large amount of scented oils and soaps were available along with fragrant incense to relax the mind along with the body.
Their clothes had been taken by Aida to be cleaned and returned to their rooms. There were plenty of towels and robes when they were ready to leave, not that they had any plans to do so just yet. Maryana, Cara, and Vexena were soaking in the heated pool. They were relaxing after thoroughly scrubbing their bodies and washing out their hair.
“Ah, there’s nothing like a hot bath after a long trip.” Cara said as she leaned back against the edge of the pool.
“I’m used to just rinsing off in a cold stream.” Vexena said as she ran a hand over her red skinned arm. “But this does feel quite enjoyable.
“You’ll be spoiled quickly by hot baths.” Maryana chuckled. “Luckily, we have a nice bath back at our base.”
“It’s an alright bath, but the tub is only big enough for one of us at a time.” Cara smirked.
“Oh my, how shall we ever get by?” Vexena smirked back.
They soaked for a bit before Maryana spoke up.
“Is it really ok what we did tonight with Caleb?”
“If you noticed he didn’t really fight us or Lyrvarrith about the whole thing.” Cara shifted her position in the water. “Besides that, I doubt the Lady Mayor is about to abandon her town to tag along with us, so it’s not like we have to share him with anyone else moving forward.”
“It’s probably for the best if the dragon works off her steam safely with someone like Caleb instead of hurting some other poor male.” Vexena sighed as she relaxed. “He’s doing the entire town a service if you look at it that way.”
Maryana responded by splashing water at the red hag’s face.

The next morning Maryana, Cara, and Vexena were escorted to a smaller, less formal dining room for breakfast by Aida. After they had sat down and started to eat they were joined by Lyrvarrith, who had returned to her Lucrezia Cason disguise.
“Good morning.” She smiled as she took her seat. “You all look much more refreshed.”
“The bath was quite relaxing, thank you.” Maryana said with a slight nod, “But I have to ask, where is Caleb?”
“Ah yes, well,” Lucrezia picked up a cup of tea and slowly drank it before continuing, “I may have gotten a little carried away with Caleb last night, and he will need to sleep things off for a bit longer. He too will most likely need a good soak in the bath when he does wake up, after a hearty meal of course.”
Vexena sighed. “So much for just one night in town. I had requested you return him intact.”
“My apologies, I couldn’t help it. Please, feel free to spend another night under my hospitality. I must say the three of you are lucky to have a male like Caleb. I’ve not met someone as…talented as him in quite a long time.”
“You can stop the description there, we get the point.” Cara said with a bit of a smile.
After breakfast was complete, Lucrezia brought them into the East Parlor again. Sitting on her desk was a large flat wooden box.
“As agreed, I have a little something for each of you.” Lucrezia said as she opened the latch. “Along with their natural enchantments, I’ve added one of my own. I will know if you discuss my true nature with anyone outside of your group. I will also know if you sell or otherwise part with them willingly. However, you can freely give them to one of your blood descendants, should you happen to have any in the future.”
Maryana was given a broach that would help protect her from magical attacks. Cara was granted a bracelet that could muffle the noise around her body, allowing completely silent movement. Vexena was granted an amulet that would enhance her ability to detect and decipher magical auras.
“I feel you will all find these trinkets useful in your travels. Now, if you will excuse me, I have a town to run.”

By the following day, Caleb had fully recovered. Their supplies were full and they left the town of Eggans behind them. They were on their final leg of their trip to Chayathana, and according to the map there would be little more than a few farming hamlets until they reached the city.
Caleb ran his thumb over the new ring on his finger. It was a parting gift from the Lady Mayor. It was attuned to his particular fae gift, allowing him to hide his third eye without the bandanna. Tapping the ring would end the illusion if he needed the enhanced vision. It was far more convenient and infinitely more comfortable than a strip of cloth covering his eye.
“So, I guess we can call you Caleb, the Dragon Layer now?” Cara joked.
“That’s too easy,” Vexena smirked, “Besides if anything she was the one who took him.”
“Hey,” Caleb glared at her, “That is not true.”
“Oh? Then how come you couldn’t walk right yesterday?” Maryana giggled.
“It’s not completely true.” He rebutted, “And the only reason she was up and around is because she is a dragon with nearly endless stamina.”
His three friends just laughed louder as they made their way down the road.
