He got in and drove to the outskirts of town by the forest where he had begun his trek to the witch's house. he didn't hesitate.

They headed to the nearest bus stop, with the plan to return once more to the witch's house. they would search for her spell book or whatever was helpful.

It took him barely five minutes to find the witch's house and he nearly laughed in relief to find a light on in the window. he walked up the path to the front door on his hind legs, forcing himself to go slow so as not to startle his friend.
