I struggle on my past/present tenses, so... pointers would be nice. another morning, and the hunger grows. what hunger, one might ask. well, that is a great question. but first, i must explain what i am.

I think this story needs to be translated into primarily present tense. otherwise it just feels uncannily off considering how sparse the narrative is and how jun's thoughts bleed into the narrative as well. definitely flexing my creative muscles here.
