I wanted to challenge myself by not only doing a first person story (which i don't do a lot) but also one that deconstructs many transformation tropes and often the unseen consequences of said transformations. hope you enjoy!

#10 of defense council profiles i created berserker because i wanted to flip the tropes used by characters like the hulk on their head. itsuo's appearance doesn't change at all other than his eyes when he goes berserk.

I wanted to try my hand at the trope, and i've been thinking about a post-apocalypse story for some time. it seems like a safe enough bet to try my hand at, after so long away.

Re-appropriate it while questioning their use of it - as well as to pick apart the ways in which traditional magic has both been watered down to the extent of becoming degenerate prestidigitation, on the one hand, and can be improved on by subverting its tropes
