The worst they had to worry about in those days was herden's scary stories. but even if herden managed to tell a monster of a tale, layla was too old to be pulling a stunt like this now.

He looked into the eyes of his terrified pets, the two shivering, backing away from raymond as he told them a scary story before bed time. tonight the scary story was "the mudman" his pets being a feminine male fox with female bits.

Those scary stories, the folk tales and the urban legends were true. during his fall charlie had scuffed up his legs and arms, his knee had a good sized cut. his panic was replaced by pain when his adrenaline died down as he laid on his back.
