These shorts will have several different flavors, and most of them will be one-offs, as that tends to be how my mind operates. however, this one, as you can probably guess by the "a" in the numbering, is not a one-off.

The next novel in the series, _merge conflict_, is currently being planned, but won't be started for a few months yet because of the aforementioned one-offs. just more practice, throwing some ideas around, etc. i look forward to plenty more writing!
