Starlight Nova:

** ** The day has surely been nice to me,_I think to myself as I lay sprawled out next to the glistening water of a nearby lake. _My training has surely proven to help me immensely with the fight against evil. *Sigh* I just hope this is over soon enough so I can enjoy my life. It is surely nice to be a dragon; protective scales, sharp claws, agile tail, strong wings, and all sorts of magic to go with it. I have started to get lonely now that all my friends are gone. War can be a cruel thing to go through, let alone survive it. If I had a friend, someone like me that I could share some part of my life with, laugh with and have fun, I would be all set, at least for a while. But alas, there are no such things as dragons on Earth, except me, but that doesn't count only because I can shape-shift. But still, having a friend to talk to, socialize with is what humans crave. They are pack animals, like dogs and wolfs.

My mind continues to wonder on the same track as I casually flick my long and sinuous tail lined with razor sharp spikes protruding from my spine behind me in the shade of a nearby tree. The lake in front of me sparkles brilliantly with a few rays of sun glittering on its surface. This small lake is something that I had found awhile ago, something to make my own since Lira disappeared...Since Anea left. All that I have left now are her memories of the time we played together, fought evil together...trained together.

*Sigh* I think this is how it must feel like to be old, considering I will live way past anyone on Earth, seeing as how I am a Protector, sworn to defend the land I was born on, raised on. Still, I can't see why someone would want to destroy such a beautiful place. If you take away the greedy humans, not to say I am not one as well, and replace them with civilized animals and reptiles, like dragons and mythical creatures, then this world might be able to prosper. But until then, I will always be here, waiting, watching, Protecting.

Rex, a young fur dragon was exploring around the lake. His soft black fur helps him blend in with the shadows. Feeling tired, Rex leaves the shadows and steps up to the lake. He takes a sip from the fresh water and sighs happily. He then lies down by the lake till he looks up and spots another dragon across from him.

Starlight Nova:

** ** It has been some time since I have rested here. I know what would probably set my mood in a happier place; flying. Yes, flying always seems to calm me when I am down. Thinking I have enough time moping around, I rustle my large wings and give out a huge, draconic toothy yawn, my ear frills extending for a short time before falling back naturally against my neck.

Wait, I think to myself, closing my maw and blinking unsurely across the lake to spot something that looks like a miniature dragon, except with midnight fur. Boy, I think, He must be... I stop; just realizing what I am looking at is another dragon. Another, live, black fur dragon.

I take a quick whiff of the air with my sensitive nose and confirm that what I am seeing is indeed a real dragon. Anxiously, I start to flick my tail back and forth. The small furred dragon stares back at me, either intimidated by my large appearance or just as much surprise as I am at seeing another dragon.

Cautiously, I roll to my left side, readying myself to rise up to all fours before standing at my impressive 10'4" height, twice that in length. I briefly shake my body, rustling my scales, trying to get that lazy, tired feeling out of my body from lying down for so long. I cordially face the small black furred dragon who raises his head a bit more, seeing as I am beginning to make my way to him.

Not wanting to scare him and be able to get to meet a real dragon, no matter how small he may be, I slowly lower myself onto my silver scaled chest, tucking my wings against my back while curling my tail around to my forelegs, sitting like a cat. I relax my ear frills, wanting to seem the least intimidating as I can despite my 10'4" to his...five feet it seems; an average height of a human.

** ** Rex stares at the larger male as his ears flatten against his head in a submissive way. His warm gold eyes lower to show him that he was of no threat. "H-hello." Rex's voice was timidly soft yet sweet and feminine sounding. He seemed to feel attracted to the large male dragon in some way as he blushes.

** ** The smaller furred dragon speaks first as I settle myself comfortably on the ground, deep emerald eyes looking into his golden irises.

"H-hello." He says stutteringly. I cock my head to one side before replying, ear frills lazily following the movement of my head.

"Don't be afraid young dragon," I respond in my low, grumbling voice while I lower my head slowly, sniffing him some more. "I will not hurt you." I continue, catching a whiff of a faint scent that I can't quite place. "Well, we both seem to have the same idea. My name is Starlight Moon, or you can call me Colby Daniels, if you want. I am not technically a dragon, but I feel most comfortable in this form." I respond while raising my head again to curl my neck in an S, muscles rippling under my smooth scales.

Continuing to stare at the small black fur dragon, his scent begins to make me more aroused. Before he can see my discomfort, I roll to my left side, tightening my wings and moving my tail, easing the steadily growing pressure within my slit.

Damn, I think to myself, why is he making me feel like this. He almost smells like Anea, even though he is clearly a male. I must be going crazy.

I then proceed to lower my head onto my paws, taking a more relaxed posture while closing my eyes and breathing deeply, trying to will away the memories as the Rex continues to stare at me in wonder and confusion. ** ** Rex watches him before he yawns tiredly and closes his eyes. Rex finds himself dozing off as he snores softly. His small furry body curled up while his head was under his small wings. His sleep is restful as the warm sun seems to warm up both dragons. ** **

Starlight Nova:

I hear Rex curl up into a ball, his black fur surely making him uncomfortable in the pockets of sun coming through the treetops. I crack open one scaly eyelid, checking to see if he is still. Rex seems to be breathing a bit heavy, probably getting too hot under the slowly intensifying sun.

With a sigh, I quietly get up onto all fours, quickly flicking my wings out before resting them onto my back. I pad around Rex, circling around once before coming up to his left and laying back down, extending my right wing over him, engulfing him in a world of cool air. I then lower my head once again onto my forepaws, tail casually sliding back and forth over the grassy floor. I shift my right leg out further, giving me more relief to my abating erection.

The birds all chirp merrily while two dragons of different sizes rest together deep in the dense forest.

Rex wakes, feeling cool as he lifts his head. He finds himself under the larger dragon's wing and blushes. He gets up and looks closely at the dragon before moving down south. With deep, calming breathes, I pulse out my magic, sending it in widening circles, the forest, the trees, and all the roots aiding me in searching out my friend.

After about five minutes, my magic finds a small life form, quadruped, hidden in a cave just large enough to hide its form. Smiling, grateful nothing has harmed my friend; I change directions to North-East, in the direction of where he is hiding.

Rex had fallen asleep in the cave. It felt safe and he was able to relax in its warmth. He dreams of Colby and he blushes deeply at his dream. He wakes up slowly and sighs.

** ** Clearly seeing what made Rex run off, I chuckle as he comes out of his cave and lies down next to me. I lower myself down onto the ground and gently stroke Rex's soft black fur.
