The little gelatinous blob moved towards her, and began covering her muzzle. as more and more of it touched her, the icy feeling, and the blob, grew. lyra could feel it feeding on her magic, using it to grow and cover her.

Now the blobs moved into the light and the two captives could see what they were up against. they looked like masses of black liquid latex. they were slick and shiny, seemingly nothing would stick to them.

The tendrils amassed about two feet away from him, forming some odd black blob. the blob began to take shape, forming into something humanoid as the shadows kept piling up. one thing that jazz didn't notice was the odd prick in the back of his mind.
