Shelly practiced tae kwon do, and was well on her way to becoming a black belt. kyle, despite having long legs and being told by shelly's instructor that he would be a natural, declined to take up tae kwon do.
Sophomore Year: The New Kids
I tried every type of martial arts gym: karate, jiu jitsu, wrestling, tae kwon do, grappling, and none could handle my blend of striking and street style. after a while, i was starting to get upset.
That Thing About 2 AM

When i hit 10 years old, i figured it was time for me to learn how to fend for myself in a fight and i took up tae kwon do. much to rick's dislike, i was soon to able to put him on the ground in any matter of seconds.
