I was going to call this a full chapter, but i decided against, as no real plot advances in the chapter. hence, it is an interlude. these will probably crop up every once in a while, like every 5 chapters or so, to break up the plot onslaught.

The cat's stomach settled in the lap of her sweatpants, and she resumed her steady, cheek-filling rhythm as the plot advanced. her gluttonous pace increased with the stock music's tempo, and she tore through her snack stash with increasing fervor.

This chapter is a bit shorter than some of the other parts but contains quite a bit of story and plot advancement.
