The snowball sailed overhead. missed. juneau scampered, stumbled through the snow, slipping and sliding. panting. a haggard, weary mouse. it was a snowball fight. several creatures here, in the countryside, had banded together.

As the last rays of daylight fade from the sky chase calls an end to the snowball fight and tells everyone to go inside and warm up.

"what are we-" a snowball suddenly hit hannah's face. mira hefted another. "let's have a little snowball fight." mira snapped the snowball at hannah, turned and ran. hannah, suddenly angry, made her own snowball.

Maybe i'd start a snowball fight with dad then. i chuckled a bit at the thought. "something funny?" i heard dad ask. "oh nothing, i was just kind of thinking about starting a snowball fight with you tomorrow," i suggested.

"snowball fight!" tracy called and a snowball landed on the shoulder of miles. "now you did it." he shouted back and started to create his own snowballs. "come on vince! we will show them! boys against girls!" vince was a bit hesitant.

Not that i mind playing it solo in the snow, it'd just seem so... weird to play with the younger children, even if they invite me for a snowball fight, or to build snowmen, and such.
