#3 of old_stories this is an older story of mine that apparently got published in an older version of the califur conbook. (used with permission.) i didn't have a chance to attend the convention and i never had a change to see it in the book however.

The Verentti Chronicles - Chapter 1
I wrote this story a few days before the califur'08 conbook deadline on the suggestion of a friend. well i am happy to say it was accepted, so now here it is for all of you. so please do not distribute, change, modify, etc, etc.
Rats
Furlandia conbook story 2017. an ordinary man wakes up "furred" and turns to his local bartender for help. a rat walked into a bar. it wasn't that big of a deal, really. we've got rats in this join all the time. i should know. i own the place.
The Tell-Tale Tie
This story was written for the biggest little fur con 2013: "the roaring twenties" conbook and was inspired by a fellow fur who had found a white tie at texas furry fiesta 2013.
Mirror
This was originally published in the furreality conbook this year. the theme was viva! and it dealt with life and death, which is why the story is so sad. mirror "where am i?" lucas asked himself as he looked around at his surroundings.
Satin Circus -- The Show Must Go On
I originally wrote this for the furnal equinox 2014 conbook. sadly, it was rejected as "too dark." but never mind, here it is for your enjoyment! zack rabbit is used by his permission. satin circus -- the show must go on by d'otter "i heard it!"
A Perilous Brew
A short fantasy story i wrote for the vancoufur 2021 conbook. it's set in a larger fantasy world i've been brewing up for quite some time, one that i've yet to settle on a proper name for. :3 enjoy.
