A sigh as i grab the remote, turning on the tv to stream some sitcom i have already seen, just for some voices here besides my own. it is a night of lazy eating and half smiles.

Some inane sitcom that neither of them cared about played on the tv, but it had become background noise. they were content to enjoy each other's company, and no longer needed any activity to occupy them.
