Apparently i have a running trend now of "first story chapter after the main group is shorter and from the other character's pov" though this is the first you'll see of it.

The main character pov is 1st person and main character is chance and he is an assassin. i woke up and said to myself. "today is going to be a great day assassinating people!" as there was a knock at the door.

It was refreshing, and challenging, to write from so many characters pov while trying to maintain the flow of the story. as of book 4 we will be back with malakye as the primary pov, with maybe some side chapters featuring other characters povs.
